He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin R. Rothmeyer and Mary Rothmeyer (Sughroue); his sister Lorene Phillips; and his brothers-in-law, John Jones, Dean Lawson and Ted Phillips.
He is survived by: his former wife Marsha Miller; his son Darren (Lili); his wife Connie Shelly (Houghtelling); his child Joylynn Rothmeyer; his stepdaughters, Melanie Upton (Isaiah) and Stephanie Shelly; and his sisters, Dolores Lawson and Anne Jones. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
