He was predeceased by: his parents, Jo Manning and Ira G. Manning; and his siblings, Willie, Aaron, Jo Curt and Gloria Manning.

He is survived by: his siblings, Joan Jones of Tupelo, MS, Martha Jean Tolliver of Water Valley, MS, Patricia Manning of Oxford, MS, Ella Ree Wilson of Knoxville, TN, Clarence Tolliver of Texas and James Manning of Illinois. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
