She was predeceased by: her parents, David Perkins and Sally Perkins; her former husband Corbit Carper, Sr.; and her children, Corbit, Aubrey Carper and Barbara Tutor.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Roy; her son Dickie Carper (Lisa); and her stepchildren, James Roy, Sylvia Gordon, Billy Roy, Mike Roy and Randy Roy. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
