He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Reyer and Margaret Robert Craig. He is survived by: his wife Laverta Reyer of Houston, Mississippi; his granddaughter Breanna Johnson; and his son Reginald Cathey. He is also survived by one sister; two brothers.

In lieu of traditional flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to your local food pantry in honor of Mr. Douglas Reyer, Jr.
