She was predeceased by: her parents, Leila Dickerson Miller and Bogue Miller; and her sisters, Susie Miller Connally of Auburn and Patricia Miller Stevens of Birmingham. She is survived by: her daughter Paige; her son-in-law Jim Hudgins; her son Ace; her daughter-in-law Angela Atkins; and her grandsons, Jake Hudgins, Will Hudgins (San Diego), Josh Hudgins, Billy Atkins (Oxford) and Jess Atkins (Oxford). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Doris's name to the Parkinson's Foundation or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
