He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Pickens and Lois Robertson Pickens; and his brother Dave Pickens. He is survived by: his children, Dustin Pickens (Janet Goode) of Oxford, Mississippi and Shayna Leigh Pickens (James Obukhovsky); his grandchildren, Carolyn and Colin Pickens of Oxford; and his sisters, Kathy Vincent (Bob) of Pennsylvania, Joyce Pickens of Pennsylvania, Gloria Nagy (Greg) of Pennsylvania, Sandy Chuck of North Carolina and Brenda Schultz (Bill) of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
