He is survived by: his sons, William Ira (Bobbie) of Oxford, MS and Herbert Bernard McEwen of Oxford, MS; his wife Minnie Lillian; his grandchildren, Landria, Kwan, Shanda, Kendric (Kimberly), Niko, Linita (Brandon), Iyan and Imani; his great grandchildren, Keynin, Kwandarius, Kimya, Makai, Kennedy, Noah, Kaden and Malaysia; his sister Virginia McEwen Thomas of Milwaukee, WI; and his siblings-in-law, Ruby Taylor and George Leggs of Holly Springs, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
