We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2022, at the age of 96, Dave Joseph Sherman of Oxford, Mississippi, born in Greenville, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sara Sarullo Sherman; his grandson Joel Lee; his siblings, Lilly Ellis, Floyd, Mershell, George, Charles and Joe Sherman; and his parents, Dave Sherman and Affifi Sherman.
He is survived by: his children, Dave (Teresa Sherman), Peter (Patti Sherman), Pat (Frances Hare) and Paul (Patty Sherman). He is also survived by his fifteen grandchildren, forty-three great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to St. John's Catholic Church, Oxford, Mississippi.
