He was predeceased by: his brother Steven Matthew Hipp. He is survived by: his parents, Danny Hipp and Sandra Hipp; his daughter Mary-Hannah Hipp Larson (Sam); his grandson Bowen Grae "Turbo" Coombs; his sister Emily Elizabeth Hipp Huffman (Jeff); his nieces, Rylan Elizabeth Huffman and Rowan McKenna Huffman; his aunt Donna Walker (J. W.); his uncle Paul Howard Hipp; and his close friends, Mike Tatum (Cindy) and Buffy Hipp. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

Donations and memorials in honor of Danny Joseph "Joey" Hipp may be made to any charity of the donor's choice.
