Cullen Lee Kennedy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2024, at the age of 66, Cullen Lee Kennedy of Oxford, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Ray Kennedy and Barbara Kent Maddox Kennedy of Magee, Mississippi.; his sister Susan Kennedy; his grandparents, William Lafayette Kennedy, Lillie May Kennedy, Cullen Maddox and Zera Thames Maddox; his uncle Billy Thames Maddox; his in-laws, Lelon Lee Grayson and Eva Mae Welch Grayson; his brother-in-law Larry Grayson; and his nephew Steven Grayson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Jeremy Kennedy (Carmen) of Oxford, Bethany Rogers (Hewitt) of Columbia, Tennessee and Stephany Jones (Jay) of Oxford; his grandchildren, Mae Rogers, Brunson Rogers and Owen Jones; his brother Craig Kennedy (Lisa); his aunt Linda Maddox; his uncle John Maddox; and his sisters-in-law, Eva Lee Grayson Floyd (Glen) and Glenda Grayson (Larry). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and wonderful friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tutor Funeral Home - Magee (822 Simpson Hwy 149, Magee, MS 39111). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Garden (295 MS-7, Oxford, MS 38655).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
