With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clorine Ivy of Oxford, Mississippi, who passed away on July 13, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Nathaniel and Lucille Joiner Brown; her son Louis Alex; her close friend Henry Alex Ivy; and her siblings, Gertie Brown and James Henry Brown.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy McMillan (Tony) of Horn Lake, MS and Juanita Ivy (David); her grandchildren, S'myiah Nicole Blissett of Memphis, TN and Ivan Anderson Archer of Oxford, MS.; her siblings, Herman, Floyd Ervin Brown of Oxford, MS., Florine Harwell, Zelma Jean Brown, Essie Savage and Henrietta Westbrook of Oxford, MS.; and her sister-in-law Shirley Brown. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
