He is survived by: his partner Verlean Carothers of Oxford, MS; his siblings, Martha Westbrook, Emma Carothers of Oxford, MS and Jim Brassell (Audrea) of Nashville, TN; and also Keatrice Houston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
