He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Cecil and Elizabeth Vaughn Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gibson; his daughters, Gina Laird (Kyle) of Oxford, MS and Jamey Andrews of Las Vegas, NV; his brother Charles David Gibson (Ellen) of Abbeville, MS; and his grandchildren, Meagan Williamson (Patrick) of Gallatin, TN, Cody Truett of Southaven, MS and Christopher Mahaffey (Kelsy) of Denham Springs, LA. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
