He is survived by: his godsons, Bill, Rodney Defenbaugh of Grenada, MS, Douglas, Draper Mauldin of Cacilla, MS, John Mayoral of Oxford, MS, Hunter Darby of Oxford, MS, Ted Kubista of Huntsville, AL and Joel Carson of Grenada, MS.; his wife Bettye Jo Christian of Oxford, MS; his stepchildren, Robert Hollingsworth (Ronnie Gilmer) of Memphis, TN and Karen Hollingsworth of Seabrook, TX; his grandchildren, Jake Hollingsworth (Starr) of Oxford, MS, Cadet Bas Hollingsworth, Luke Hollingsworth of Grenada, MS and Olivia Hollingsworth of Seabrook, TX; his great grandchild Maddie Hollingsworth of Oxford, MS; his sister Nadene Tompkins of Madison, MS; his niece Allyson Tompkins of Madison; his great-nieces, Sara Grace, Olivia and Ella Harrison of Madison, MS; and his nephew Michael Tompkins.
