He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Beckett and Vallie Beckett; his wife Dorothy Beckett; and his brothers, Fred Beckett, James "Sport" Beckett and T. A. Beckett.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Beckett (Cherell) of Columbus, MS, Joe Beckett of Columbus, MS and Janie Dunn (Doug) of Chattanooga, TN; his siblings, Dwayne Beckett (Doris) of Auburn, AL and Jean Willis of Grenada, MS; his grandchildren, Cade Ghaffari, Jessica Ghaffari, Parker Ghaffari (Alexandra), Alex Beckett (Ashtin), Jessica Grisham (Jay), Anna Kathryn Beckett and Harper Dunn; his great grandchildren, Freely Grace Grisham, Justice Grisham, Daily Grisham, Walker Grisham and Mary Beckett Grisham; and his sister-in-law Shirley Beckett.
