With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Taylor Cherry in Oxford, Mississippi, who passed away on September 25, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Taylor and Agnes Taylor; her husband John L. Cherry; her son Ronald H. Miller; and her brothers, James E. Crosby and David Lee Crosby.
She is survived by: her sons, Jesse Lewis Kaufman of Oxford, MS, Edward Lamar Kaufman of Oxford, MS and Randy Van Cherry of Rison, AR. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.
