She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion T. Young, Sr. and Stella Kent Young; her husband Thomas Taggart; and her siblings, Mack Young and Joyce Collins.

She is survived by: her brother Marion T. Young, Jr.; and her nieces and nephews, Terry Young, Kevin Young, Kelli Young, Kendi Young, Madison Young, Mackie Young, Gary Collins and Greg Collins.
