It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avie Jane Carroll Ivy (Oxford, Mississippi), who passed away on January 17, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Carroll and Ora Mae Carroll; her husband Troy Naden Ivy, Sr.; her son Troy Naden Ivy, Jr.; her siblings, Dorothy Taylor and Gene Carroll; and her granddaughter Connie Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanette Smith-Jones (Ed) of Oxford, MS, Anne Jordan (Bobby) of Oxford, MS and Vicki Lokey of Oxford, MS; and her grandchildren, Mark Smith, Phil Smith, Brandye Gossett, Clint Lokey, Lisa Vaughn and Cindy Pruitt. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
