He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Dewey "Jack" Durham; his siblings, Malcolm Durham, Lynn Sayres and Barbara Smith; his uncle Gene Nail; his aunt Joyce Nail; and his grandparents, Buchanan and Omie Buchanan.
He is survived by: his wife Shelia; his children, Angela Durham, Jimmy Durham and Lee Durham (Emily); his grandchildren, Dallas Durham and Chloe Durham; and his brother Doyle Nail (Mary). He is also survived by one aunt, two uncles, numerous cousins, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the College Hill Presbyterian Church, the Disabled American Veterans association, the Wounded Warrior Project, Make a Wish Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
