It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arsenio Pegues of Oxford, Mississippi, who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jessie Mae Sisk, Raymond Charles Townsend and John Henry Pegues; his nephew Jai; and his uncle Bobby Townsend.

He is survived by: his parents, Mary Pegues of Oxford, MS and Keith Pegues; his siblings, Tiffany Jones (Lyn) of Oxford, MS, Antonio Pegues (Lakesia) of Oxford, MS and Everett Johnson of Atlanta, GA; his grandmother Rozetta Pegues of Oxford, MS; his nephews, Jaheim Jones, Antavious Herod, Markeise Butler, XahKhyrien Pegues and Aerde Wilson; his niece AiNiyaiiah Pegues; his godparents, Earlene Norphlet and Donnell Barr; his close friends, Derrick Willingham, Jazmine Brown, Kisha Bell and De'Andre Patrick; and his pet Big Red. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
