She is survived by: her children, Kendrick Mayes of Starkville, MS and KoKola Foote (Justin) of New Albany, MS; her siblings, Sallie Liggins of Oxford, MS, Hazel Campbell of Oxford, MS, Betty Buford of Oxford, MS, Wade Luster Mayes of Oxford, MS, Zannie Mayes of Oxford, MS, Joe Gene Mayes (Queen) of Oxford, MS, Jessie James Mayes of Oxford, MS and Sylvester Mayes of Dallas, TX; and her granddaughters, True Grace Foote, Cammie Foote and Caris Foote. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
