Anne Reid Lewis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2023, at the age of 97, Anne Reid Lewis of Oxford, Mississippi passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anne Reid Lewis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Reid and Ruth Brice Reid; and her husband Dale Lewis. She is survived by: her sister Julia O'Haver of Oxford; her nieces, Elizabeth Ford of Phoenix, Arizona and Rebecca Reid of Seattle, Washington; her nephew John O'Haver (Kevie) of Abbeville, Mississippi; her great-niece Maren O'Haver of Nashville, Tennessee; her great-nephew Hudson O'Haver (Jennisha) of Lewisburg; her sister-in-law Nancy Reid of La Mirada, CA.; and her brothers, Vernon Reid Jr., John Reid and Jack Reid.
After moving to Mississippi, she volunteered many hours at Baptist Memorial Hospital and at the Oxford Welcome Center. (RSVP).
In place of traditional flowers, the family has requested that monetary donations be given to Gideons International (https://www.gideons.org) in memory of Anne.
