He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Harris, and Mae Etta Ivy Harris, Sr.; his wife Wilma Harris; his daughter Aletha Harris; and his siblings, Ernest Albert, Jr., Walter, Elmer, Cardie, Kelly, James, Willie Mae, Alice, Dorothy, Florence and Narvella Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Gwendolyn Harris of Oxford, MS, Annetta Harris of Oxford, MS, Kimolyn Harris of Greenbelt, MD and Angelia Harris of Oxford, MS; his nephew Claude Blake (Christine) of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Cortez Harris (Angie) of Memphis, TN, Quinndolyn Harris of Starkville, MS, Dennis Driver, Jr. of Memphis, TN, Alexus Driver of Oxford, MS, Keiona Harris of Greenbelt, MD and Kylan Tumblin of Oxford, MS; his niece Maxine Hill of Oxford, MS; and his nephews, David Hill (Shalonda) of Starkville, MS and Bernard Harris (Coralyn) of Oxford, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
