It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Joe Harper (Ovett, Mississippi), who passed away on November 6, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harper and Vallie Harper; his son James R. Harper; and his siblings, Lela Langlinais, George W. and Harold Harper.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Nell Harper of Ovett; his sons, Larry Dean Harper, Clint Landrum (Carolyn) and Kevin Landrum (Catrina); and his siblings, Nina Bartran (Robbie) of Laurel and Vaster Scott Harper of Laurel. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
