With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel Sumrall Creel of Ovett, Mississippi, who passed away on May 11, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband N. Lamar Creel; her son Melvin Barry Creel; her parents, Guy Sumrall and Rita Grantham Sumrall; and her brother Mason Sumrall.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Dunigan (Danny), Terry Creel (Hope) and Malcolm Creel; her daughter-in-law Tracey Thompson Creel; her siblings, Arden Sumrall (Orene), Martha Whitehead (Tommy) and Rebecca Brannon (Marshall); and her granddaughters, Sarah Anderson (Jeff), Susan Dickerson (Steve), Dara Meyers (Andy), Kayla Creel, Camden Creel and Riley Creel.
