She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. James Shoemake; her brother Robert "Bob" Herrington, Jr.; her parents, Robert Herrington, and Ethel Herrington, Sr.; and her brother-in-law Glen Shoemake.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Robertson of Ovett, Deborah Burk (Bill) of Petal and Ray Shoemake of Dallas, TX; her brother Charles Ray Herrington (Glenda) of Hattiesburg; her sisters-in-law, Patricia Shoemake of Ovett and Sarah Vanderford (Joe) of Saraland, AL; her grandchildren, James Burk (Kelly), Amy Liles (Derek), Ethan Wiggins (Carlie), Emily Richardson (Chris), Austin Shoemake (Ashlyn), Tanner Robertson (Angelina) and Daniel Burk; and her great grandchildren, Ainsley Burk, Wyatt Burk, Lucas Liles, Aubry Richardson, Abbie Richardson, Ellie Richardson, Wyatt Wiggins, Camden Jones and Cara Jones.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home (789 MS-42, Petal, MS 39465). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church Cemetery (8 Arthur Tucker Rd, Ovett, MS 39464).
