He is survived by: his children, Michelle Ishee (Ben), Ovett and Keith Bates (Shay); his grandchildren, Rachel DeLeon (Jorge), Carley Ishee, Madison Bates, Mason Bates and Macie Ishee; his great grandchildren, Ben DeLeon, Oliver DeLeon and Sara DeLeon; his siblings, Shirley Phillips (Bo), Jimmy Dale Pitts (Deb), Glen Pitts (Edna) and R. L. Pitts; his sister-in-law June Gibson (Ronnie); and his close friend Millie McCraw of Laurel, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
