He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann Walters; his children, Judy Lynn Walters, Joe Walters (Bonnie) and Jimmy Walters (Shaw); his grandson Joe Edward Walters III (Sheryl); and his brothers, Morris Moore Walters and Johnny Alford Walters (Susan). He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
