He was predeceased by: his wife Myrna C. Creel; and his son William Roy Creel. He is survived by: his children, James Phillip "Phil" Creel, Jr. (Cindy) of Oak Grove and Cindy Creel Bailey (John) of Ovett; and his siblings, Edwina White of Pascagoula and William Creel of Ovett. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Mr. Creel's honor.
