It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hester Ann West Walters Pefferkorn (Ovett, Mississippi), who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Coyt C. West, Sr. and Illa West, Sr.; her sister Patricia West Alman; and her grandson Christopher Alan Harper. She is survived by: her daughters, Polly Odom of Petal and Martha Hancock of Ellisville; her siblings, Coyt C. "Bud" West, Jr. (Kay) of Hattiesburg, Nell West Harper of Ovett and Nancy West Dorroh (Jimmy) of Ocean Springs; her grandchildren, Regina Harper Beeson, Megan Welsh and Erin Hancock Walker (Neal); her great grandchildren, Jordyn Beeson Stevenson (Ryan), Harper Beeson, Devin Rodriguez, Alexis Martinez, Alexis Blair Harper, Anna Beeson, Noah Welsh and Addyson Walker; her great great grandchildren, Jaylen Davis and Skylar Stevenson; her stepchildren, Kay Pefferkorn Konvicka, Shawn Pefferkorn and Clay Pefferkorn; and her stepgrandchildren, Leslie Konvicka and Kyle Konvicka. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church (8 Arthur Tucker Rd, Ovett, MS 39464). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
