She was predeceased by: her husband Harold W. "Cotton" McLain; her son James W. McLain; her parents, George Blackburn and Mattie Blackburn; and her siblings, George Jr., Willie D., Johnny Ross, Gary, Helen and Lois.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Breazeale of Richton, Rita McCardle of Richton, Debbie Hinton (Keith) of Ovett and Heather Cooper (Chris) of Clara; and her sister Marie Smith of Meridian. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren.
