She was predeceased by: her parent Leslie D. Buckles; her stepmother Lela Buckles; her husband Don Veal; and her siblings, Barbara Furlow and L. D. Buckles.
She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Reigel (Joseph) and Mary Ann Godbold (David); her grandchildren, Craig Stuard, Alex Reigel, Susan Wheless (Ronnie), Mikey Godbold (Laci), Cyndi Laciura (Cole), Courtni Elliott (Joey), Britni Davis (Ruston) and Whitni Simmons (Adam); her great grandchildren, Ginger, Beau, Allie and Walker; her brother Robert Buckles; her granddaughter Anna Fraiser; and her pet Winston Bankston Veal. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
