He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Rayborn Lea and Azzie Lee Bryan Lea; his spouse Avis Wilson Lea; his brother Udell Lea; his siblings-in-law, Pauline Lea and Marcus Lee McDaniel; and his nephew Mark A. McDaniel.
He is survived by: his sons, Gerald Lea (Debbie) of Magnolia, Dennis Lea (Ricki) of Osyka and Jimmy Lea (Theresa) of Osyka; his sister Joan McDaniel of Osyka; his grandchildren, Michelle Nunnery (Jeff), Chris Lea (Abbi), Amy Motta (Chris), Corey Lea (Kristin), Derek Lea (Ashley), Jeremey Lea, Kellye Sistrunk (Keith) and Brandi Sanders (Nathan); his great grandchildren, Charley Nunnery, Rosi Jane Lea, Ava Belle Motta, Preston Lea, Anna-Marie Lea, Kelsie Lea, Jessa Lea, Micah Lea, Chloe Sistrunk, Karrington Ritter and Tucker Sanders; and his great great grandchildren, Walker James Sistrunk and Haven Grace Sistrunk. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
