He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lee Simmons and Juanita Simmons of Progress, MS; his friend Lance "Porkchop" Bates; his wife Elaine; his sons, Daniel (Crystall), David (Hunter), Darryl (Michelle) and Dusty (Genie); his grandchildren, Tyler (Katelyn Simpson), Lani (Cole Curry), Macy, Jake, Remi, Annaleigh, Cecily and Samuel; his sister Margaret Knight of Summit; and his mother-in-law Marie Boies.
