He was predeceased by: his father Odis Linton Tines; and his brothers, Albert Troy Tines and William Dennis Tines. He is survived by: his children, Vernon Eugene Tines, Jr. (Butch), Philip Alan Tines (Sharon) of Lebanon, MO and Terri Lynn Tines of Fletcher, NC.; his grandchildren, Gina Nichole Tines, Lauren Rene Tines, Eric Coleman Tines and Autumn Nicole Tines; his son Butch; and his pet Toby.
