She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Kirk and Lena Kirk; her husband Howard Looney; and her brothers, Joe Ed Kirk (Mary Elizabeth), Donald Kirk and Clifford Kirk (Anita).
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Looney Halteman; her grandchildren, Leah Halteman Spears and Jonathan Halteman; her great grandchild Mya Dugan; and her sisters, Mary Johnson, Sadie Allison (Alvin), Annie Allison (Billy Joe), Ruby West and Mary Jo Cupples. She is also survived by 30 nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
