It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Lessel Looney (Olive Branch, Mississippi), who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel Lessel and Louvena Lessel; and her siblings, Kenneth Lessel, Betty Burrows and Ray Lessel.
She is survived by: her husband James Neal Looney; her siblings, Hulon Lessel (Dorothy), Judy Lessel and Ola Joyner (Jimmy); her children, Ronnie Looney (Brenda), Ricky Looney (Debbie) and Nancy Lykins (Bill); her grandchildren, Jessica White (Nathan), Tosha Cookemboo (Shawn), Joshua Lykins, Boomer Looney (Ashley), Ricky Looney (Shelley) and Janaye Clark (Justin); her great grandchildren, Silas, Rhett, Abbie Louvena and Celia White; and her grandchildren, Bryson, Brantley, Brooks Looney, Harper Looney and Asher Clark.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Meadow Brook Baptist Church, 13862 Red Banks Rd. N, Byhalia, MS 38611.
