He is survived by: his wife Anita Sherard; his children, David Leon Sherard (Agnes), Danny Wade Sherard (Gayle), Donna Porter and Doug Sherard (Donna); his grandchildren, Amanda Daugherty (David), Benjamin Sherard (Stephanie), Elizabeth Sherard, Hunter Porter (Stephani) and Nathan Porter; his great grandchildren, Lucas Sherard, Katelyn Sherard, Lukas Porter, Emma Porter and Beau Porter; and his sister Ann Allen.
