He is survived by: his wife Cathy Irene Nix of Olive Branch; his children, Kristi Byrd (Alan) of Clarksdale, MS, Joie Barbieri (Michael) of Olive Branch, Kirk Nix (Wendi) of Savannah, TN and Shane Manuel (Ginger) of Olive Branch; and his siblings, Ann Mills (Pat) of Olive Branch, Shirley Newcomb of Corinth and Bill Nix of Corinth. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
