It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Southerland of Olive Branch, Mississippi, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on January 25, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Nyree Cote; his brother Robert Southerland; his daughter Ashley Calhoun; his aunt Linda; his uncle Marvin; and his cousins, Jeff Copeland, Jerry Copeland and John Copeland.
He is survived by: his father John M. Southerland; his wife Brandy Southerland; his stepmother Carol Garrett; his children, Katelyn Terrell, Brittany Calhoun, Emily Southerland, Crystal Terrell (Eric Sayre), Ricky Terrell, Jr. (Victoria Terrell), Molly Southerland and Raylyn; his siblings, Jodie Deal, DeAnna Dorosky, Tony, Gary, Kevin, Travis Reynolds and Misty Butler; his cousins, Jimmy Copeland and Molly Copeland; and his mother-in-law Kathy Williams. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and many more cousins, nephews, and nieces.
