He is survived by: his wife Sun Compton; and his children, Christina Arnold, Sean Compton, Danny Compton, Barbara Compton, John Carl Compton and David Compton.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Brantley Funeral Home (6875 Cockrum Rd, Olive Branch, MS 38654). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN 38125).
