She was predeceased by: her husband Carroll L. Thurmond; her parents, Ewell C. Jackson and Pauline Taylor Jackson; her brothers, James Jackson (Edna) and Paul Jackson; her niece Paula Ann Jackson; and her grandson Peyton C. Church.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Church, Debra Brunner (Tony), Glen Thurmond and Mark Thurmond (Karen); and her sister-in-law Annette Jackson. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
