He was predeceased by: his parents, Plato Perry Penney and Mary Elizabeth Brown; his stepfather Alfred Brown; and his brother James Penney (Jim). He is survived by: his children, Alex and Harley Davidson; his wife Fran Penney; his daughter Ashlie Penney Hilliard; his son-in-law Terry Hilliard; his daughter Andrea Penney Still; his son-in-law Parker Still; his grandson Alex Penney; his daughter-in-law Brooke Penney; and his grandchildren, Abby Hilliard Mitchel (Lane), Tess Hilliard Whittington (Tucker), Brooklyn Penney, Hays Still, Mason Penney and Brooks Still. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
