It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Chamberlin of Olive Branch, Mississippi, born in Eupora, Mississippi, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Alvin Ray Edwards; her parents, Odis Pearson, Sr. and Nora Thurman; and her siblings, Doris McCarthy, Martha Blaylock and Elmer Pearson.
She is survived by: her husband Freddie Chamberlin; her daughters, Donna Haven of Walnut, Mississippi and Freda Curl (Billy) of Blytheville, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Gabrielle Curl (John Hixon), Cody Haven, Abigail Curl-Hackworth (Scott), Brandon Curl and Rick Curl; and also Odis Pearson, Jr..
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brantley Funeral Home (6875 Cockrum Rd, Olive Branch, MS 38654). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Baker's Chapel Umc Cemetery (1965 Johnston Rd, Hernando, MS 38632).
