With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Alease Alderson of Olive Branch, Mississippi, born in Millington, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lether Burkes and Ruby Burkes; her husband Calvin Alderson; her son Don Duncan; her stepson Larry Alderson; her granddaughter Suellen Luttrell Feathers; her stepgrandson Brook Alderson; and her siblings, Walter Burkes and Betty Barton.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Luttrell and Mike Duncan (Loretta); and her stepchildren, Calvin Alderson, Jr. (Judy), Billy Alderson (Ann) and Deborah Davis. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Meadowbrook Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her honor.
