We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2024, at the age of 65, Barry Maddox of Olive Branch, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Barry leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hernando Funeral Home (2285 Hwy 51 S, Hernando, MS 38632). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Barry was the only recipient of both the Hall of Eagles Award and the Golden Eagle Award (only one to receive to date) for his fundraising efforts on behalf of the Tennessee Grocers Education Foundation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Tennessee Grocers Education Foundation for the LD & Marilyn Maddox Scholarship Award.
