It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Soden of Okolona, Mississippi, who passed away on November 3, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smith and Agnes Belgarde Smith; her husband Henry Soden; and her siblings, David Smith and Helen Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Peggy Paepke (late Ronnie) of Fargo, Yvonne Barnett (Steve) of Nettleton, Kathy Long (Steve) of Vardaman, Teresa McCollum (Gerry) of Nettleton, Robert Soden of Memphis, Christopher Soden of Starkville, Danny Soden (Shannon) of Saltillo and Alan Soden; and her siblings, Ronnie Smith (Susan) of Bakersville, CA, Billy Smith (late Jean) of Bakersville, CA, Michael Smith (Sally) of Mammoth, Hugie Smith (Vickie) of Reno, NV., Richard Rearden (Christy) of Slidell, LA, Marcy Garay of Helena, MT, Maryann Smith of Helena, MT, Julie Alvarado of Helena, MT and Pam Hernandez of Helena, MT. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
