He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Tallant and Ruth Roman Tallant; and his sister Norma Jean Allen. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Brasfield Tallant; his daughter Loralei Tallant McGee (Greg) of Tupelo; his grandchildren, Jacob Roman McGee of Asheville, NC and Georgia Elizabeth McGee of Tuscaloosa, AL; his siblings-in-law, Monette Maher of Blue Springs, Teresa Spencer of Shannon, Betty Brasfield of Mooreville and Ted Brasfield of Little Rock, AR; his nieces and nephews, Reba Morris (Ron), Kay Davis (Kevin), Karen Gorrell (Dallas), Angela Derreberry (Darrell), Andrea Spencer (Darrel Ledington), Dorinda Lambert (Greg), Ricky Parker (Lori), Eddy Parker (Annette) and Edward Maher (Marilyn); and his close friend Kenny Simmons.
