With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Anderson of Okolona, Mississippi, who passed away on June 26, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Farris David Griffin and Mildred Tate Griffin of Okolona; her husband Jim Anderson; her children, Talley Anderson Cooper and James Granville "Jimmy" Anderson, Jr.; her grandson Welles Anderson; her brother Lamar Griffin (Jean) of Tupelo; her parents-in-law, Charles and Annie Mae Anderson of Okolona; her nephew Todd Griffin; and her brothers-in-law, Charles Anderson (Mary) of Okolona and Bob Anderson of Okolona.

She is survived by: her children, Dawn Anderson Robbins of Tupelo and Jeb Stuart Anderson (Anna) of Tupelo; her children-in-law, Amy Welles Anderson of Okolona and Tracy Cooper (Mary) of Madison, WI; her great grandchildren, Stella Grace, Georgia Robbins of Lewisburg, TN, Jimmy and Everett Anderson of West Point; her siblings, Kay Isbell (Bill) of Anniston, AL and Guy Griffin (Ellen) of Lucedale, MS; and her sister-in-law Mary Jo Anderson of Tupelo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends.
