He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brand and Mary Evelyn Stevens Brand; and his brother Charles Brand (Liv) of West Point. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Watson Brand of Okolona; his children, William "Bill" Brand of Sherman, Leslie Brand of Okolona and Carol Brand Caldwell (John) of Sherman; his grandchildren, Sam Brand, Dallas Brand (Teresa), John Martin Caldwell (Brittany) and Lauren Galloway (Jake); his great grandchildren, Emerson, Zach, Colton Galloway, Hunter and Eli Brand; and his brother James Brand (Pat) of Ocean Springs, MS..
